The Resi IMT is made of transparent acrylic glass; the mouthpiece and the swivel spacer inside the device are made of white polypropylene; the spring inside is made of stainless steel; and the valve diaphragm is made of silicone.

The device’s inspiratory resistance can be set to a value between 9 and 41 cm H₂O using the black scale on the outside and the red mark on the spacer.

Resi IMT (Inspiratory Muscle Trainer) is a device for adults (aged 16 and over) intended exclusively for training the respiratory muscles involved in inhalation. It is used to reduce fatigue and weakness of the respiratory muscles in chronic respiratory conditions, such as persistent airway obstruction and lung diseases such as COPD.

The device is intended to be used several times over 30 consecutive days in accordance with the training schedule prescribed by the treating doctor. A new device must be used for each new 30-day training cycle.

The device is not intended for the diagnosis, treatment or prevention of any disease and is intended solely for personal use.
